I am preparing for the July 5th Launch night of the 2018 edition of the new Bristol Pound notes. I've been looking back at my original inspirations for the Queen Square picture to help me develop some new images that might be more readily adapted to make A5 sized cards. I went back to the Scott Barden graffiti (above) that I saw on the old Bath Road back in 2010 and then I also returned to an 1831 Lithographic image by Louis Haghe (below). I have developed a portrait card picture and this has gone into the printers at Niche. Hopefully this will be digitised and ready for printing in the next couple of weeks.

This is the official version of my piece on the Bristol Pound Note. I'm really pleased with the result. It's nice that my design is on the 1 Pound note because I can buy lots of them and send them to my friends and family!
